In 1996 and 1997, the feud between the West Coast and East coast had reached it’s peak. Two of Hip Hop’s most recognizable figures, Tupac Shakur and Christopher Wallace (aka Notorious BIG), were viciously murdered as a result. Many speculated about what happened between the two artists who were once good friends, and if it was a result of the ongoing feud between the the east coasts Bad Boy Entertainment, headed by Puff Daddy, and the west coasts Death Row Records, headed by Suge Knight. For approximately one week following each murder, the police departments started posting “Reward Posters” in the streets, hoping to get information on the cases. The cases are still unsolved.
